Hi, I'm Namakula, thanks for popping by. I'm a creative with a  rich career spanning globally, throughout the US and Europe.

 

Since I was a wee lass, I've been a fervent storyteller. Whether it be through images, words or music--this was a passion that blossomed naturally within me. While pursuing an acting career in NYC, I took an unexpected, but happy detour into the world of post production. This pursuit led to a very prolific and creatively fulfilling career as a video editor.

Along my journey, I've had the privilege of cultivating my editorial skills under the tutelage of and working alongside some of the top talents in the business, such as: Barry Alexander Brown, Rick Russell and Kirk Baxter.

The breadth of my work encompasses; commercials, webseries, films, live events, industrials and more than I can remember. I've helmed projects in both the General and Latin markets for prestige brands, such as: Coca Cola, Hershey’s, Smirnoff Ice Triple Black  and The MoMA.

I've collaborated with renowned innovators at award winning ad agencies, like: JWT, DDB, CPB and mcgarrybowen. In addition to working with A-list and legendary directors, such as: Spike Lee, Bob Giraldi and Jaume.

Fun fact: I had another life in Barcelona and once had an interview for an editor position with an EP who spoke to me entirely in Catalan... I don't speak Catalan!
